USDA Rural Development was established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families with children, elderly, disabled, or single persons. USDA Rural Development administers Federal aid to agencies that manage the communities for low-income residents at rents they can afford. Preferences are given to holders of Letters of Priority Entitlement issued by USDA Rural. All other applications are handled by date and time.
